HOW TO ORDER SHEET MUSIC - read carefully!
Because of the huge cost of postage from Ireland, all our transactions are done 100% online, so you will receive your order by email. We do not send you scores by post. We try to complete and send orders very quickly by email, sometimes completing them on the same day. Sometimes there are problems with scores arriving late or not at all due to antivirus software or firewalls.
PLEASE CONTACT US IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED YOUR SCORES WITHIN ONE WEEK.
We will send you the score as an email attachment with a Certificate indicating the number of copies that you have ordered, and a pronunciation guide [as an MP3 file]. We do not send out pronunciation guides if the number of scores that you order is not a performable amount, and we only send out guides for the Irish language, Scots Gaelic or Early languages no longer spoken.
At the moment we only accept Credit Cards [Visa/Mastercard/Laser] - our online bank is RBS WorldPay, so your transaction is completely safe, and we do not receive nor retain your credit card numbers on our site.
How does the Certificate system work?
We operate a certificate system for reproduction of copies from a single master copy. What you will receive from us will be :
1. A single Master copy of the piece(s) on A4 sheets, with a licence certificate for the number of copies that you are legally allowed reproduce and
2. An MP3 pronunciation guide if appropriate [we do not send out pronunciation guides for Latin or any European language such as Spanish or French. We only send them out for Iris, Gaelic or Early English]
3. A Receipt [but only if requested to when placing your order]: However, your credit card order will automatically generate a receipt.
I only want to look at the piece - must I purchase?
No. You can download a partial score of most of the pieces in PDF format (You will need Acrobat PDF Reader, free from here), which gives a fair idea of how difficult the pieces are.
I only want to sing along with a recording, so only want to order one or two copies - can I do this?
Yes. However, note that Michael McGlynn is published by Warner Chappell Music, and any infringement of copyright will be dealt with very harshly, as it is illegal to make copies of copyright work without permission of the copyright holder. You will not receive a certificate, nor will you receive a pronunciation guide if you order only one copy or if the number of copies you order does not constitute a performable quantity [that is if the piece is in four parts and you order two...]
How much does this all cost?
You can pay in Euro, Sterling or Dollars - the online bank allows this. Here are the usual price scales in euro for standard choral works - however some scores are priced differently
| 1 to 20 copies |
2.70 euro each |
| 21 to 39 copies |
2.40 euro each |
| 40 copies plus |
2.10 euro each |
This looks great, and I want to buy! What do I do now...?
