Our friends at Keltia Musique in Brittany have put together what must classify as the most adventurous collection of Celtic Music we have come across.

Their choice of our "The Road of Passage" from Sensation is pretty typical of the escoteric nature of the release. Represented are stalwarths such as Sinéad Ó Conor, Moving Hearts, Alan Stivell, Clannad, The Chieftains, Loreena McKennitt and the Dubliners.

There are thirty-nine tracks and a fantastic booklet. Well worth the purchase if only for its introduction to the wonders of Breton Music... purchase here.

We have added three videos from the "Celtic Origins" project [CD and DVD available here] on the Anúna YouTube Channel. Included are "Greensleeves/Scarborough Fair" featuring the brilliant violinist Linda Lampenius. Linda is interviewed and features playing "Aisling" and the singers are interviewed in the third video.

SANCTUS has received an excellent review from the prestigious ALL MUSIC GUIDE - you can view it HERE. We have decided to relaunch the CD for the Easter season of 2010 due to the nature of much of the material on the record. You can purchase it in our STORE.

Due to adverse weather conditions [well, adverse for Ireland, but normal for most other countries] we have been forced to postpone our concert in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford. Visit our Live page for the rescheduled date - much apologies to all of you who were looking forward to it.

Thank you to all our friends in Japan at Plankton for looking after us so well for our recent tour of the country. They have a special [Japanese language] web page covering the events of this tour - you can see it HERE. We have updated the GALLERY to include pictures from the trip.

Our special guests for the Christmas Concerts have just been announced, and there are still some tickets left for the Thursday. We are delighted to have Noel Eccles playing percussion with us again this year, and we are also joined by Alyth McCormack, the wonderful Scottish singer and actress. You can find out more about Alyth on her website here.

Anúna took part in the early September 2009 mega festival The Electric Picnic here in Ireland. They performed as part of Poptopia. Here is a picture of the group waiting to go onstage. It was quite muddy...Rory Musgrave led the group through a short, sparkling set, which was hugely well received.
