Instructions on how to purchase sheet music
Below you will find the instructions and conditions for purchasing Michael's sheet music. Afterwards please click on the "Proceed to the Sheet Music Store" link at the bottom of this page. All of the pieces featured have a pdf excerpt of the score available to view, and most have an MP3 clip to hear. Many also have video links of the pieces in performance.
HOW TO ORDER SHEET MUSIC - read carefully!
All our transactions are done 100% online, so you will receive your order by email ONLY. We do not send you scores by post. We try to complete and send orders very quickly by email, sometimes completing them on the same day. Sometimes there are problems with scores arriving late or not at all due to antivirus software or firewalls.
PLEASE CONTACT US IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED YOUR SCORES WITHIN ONE WEEK
We will send you the score as an email attachment with a Certificate indicating the number of copies that you have ordered, and a pronunciation guide.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express through our online banks PayPal or Worldpay. You can use an already existing PayPal account, and your transaction is completely safe. We do not receive nor retain your credit card details on our site.
How does the Certificate system work?
We operate a certificate system for reproduction of copies from a single master copy. What you will receive from us will be :
- A single Master copy of the piece(s), with a licence certificate for the number of copies that you are legally allowed to reproduce
- An MP3 pronunciation guide if appropriate [we do not send out pronunciation guides for Latin or any European language such as Spanish or French. We only send them out for Irish, Scots Gaelic or Middle English. Some of the pieces also include a written Pronunciation Guide or/and an IPA Guide.
- A Receipt is automatically generated with your order and a link to it will appear in your email order statement.
I only want to look at the piece - must I purchase?
- You can download a partial score of Michael's music in PDF format (You will need Acrobat PDF Reader, free from here), which gives a good idea of how difficult the pieces are. We do not send out complete perusal scores.
I only want to sing along with a recording, so only want to order one or two copies - can I do this?
- Yes. However, note that Michael McGlynn is published by Warner Chappell Music, and any infringement of copyright will be dealt with by legal means, as it is illegal to make copies of copyright work without permission of the copyright holder. You will not receive a certificate, nor will you receive a pronunciation guide if you order only one copy or if the number of copies you order does not constitute a performable quantity [that is, for example, if the piece is in four parts and you only order two...]
How much does this all cost?
Unit cost is 1.90 euro, with a small number of choarl items priced higher. The price of each score is clearly indicated on each item prior to purchase. We give a generous volume discount for multiple copies. If you wish to buy in Dollars, Sterling or other currency Paypal, one of our payment processors, will allow you to do this at checkout.
Volume discount:
- 10 to 15 copies: 5% on all scores purchased*
- 15 to 20 copies: 10% on all scores purchased*
- 21 to 30 copies: 15% on all scores purchased*
- 31 + copies plus: 20% on all scores purchased*
