Rebecca first joined ANÚNA in early 2007 while studying for an undergraduate degree in Musicology at NUI Maynooth (Kildare, Ireland) and she travelled with the group on multiple tours to Japan, the UK and various European countries.

She features on the ANÚNA PBS TV special, DVD and CD “Christmas Memories” which was recorded for Maryland public television and was part of the collaborative project that ANÚNA undertook with Australian super-group ‘The Wiggles’.

Rebecca is currently working as a session musician and producer and releases her own music under her stage name CHIRPY. She recently completed the album ‘Fragments’ for John McGlynn.

“The time that I spent with the group singing was extremely formative. Something I probably didn’t appreciate at the time. It’s very rare to find the shared love, commitment and family of musicians that can form in a group such as ANÚNA.

It’s something that I will always feel a part of and I continue to take those experiences with me everywhere I go.”
