Luisa Klose
I grew up in Leipzig, Germany, where music became a natural part of my life early on – what started as curiosity soon turned into a lasting passion. My training in piano, voice, and music theory started when I was 4 years old and laid the foundation for everything that followed.
I studied music education with a focus on voice at the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg. During that time, I discovered how much I value ensemble singing – the attentive listening, the shared breathing, and the unique feeling of voices blending into one sound. I have worked with different ensembles since then, which has expanded my knowledge about various singing styles, genres and the many possibilities a voice can explore.
Since 2017, I have been a permanent member of Sjaella, where I sing alto and help shape the ensemble’s sound. Until 2020, I was also active in youth and educational work.
I have been following Anúna’s artistic path for several years and have always been deeply inspired by the ensemble’s unique sound, its sense of musical storytelling and the way tradition and openness come together in the repertoire. Their music has accompanied me for a long time, both as a listener and as a performer.
Through Michael's arrangements for Sjaella, our musical paths have already crossed in a way, and working with his music has strengthened my wish to become part of Anúna myself. And now I am happy to say that I am part of it.
Alongside performing, I work as a voice teacher. In my musical work, I care deeply not only about beauty of sound, but about expression and connection – both to the music itself and to the people I share it with.
